FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Franklin Police Department arrested a man accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and millions of dollars in cryptocurrency from his ex-girlfriend. FPD reports that 58-year-old Kirk West has been charged with theft over $250,000, with a bond set at $1 million. West was arrested at the Nashville International Airport, not even 24 hours after officers began investigating him. “Franklin Police Department would like to thank the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and airport authorities for their cooperation,” FPD said.
