Which Cryptocurrency Is More Likely to Be a Millionaire Maker: XRP vs. Shiba Inu
One of these two tokens has really benefited from President Trump's election victory. The crypto market has had a strong year overall, with significant gains since Donald Trump's presidential election victory last November. While volatility remains, many major cryptocurrencies have risen substantially, though not all have followed the same trajectory. Trump's regulatory approach has created a more welcoming environment for cryptocurrencies and related businesses, fueling investor optimism about crypto's future. Two popular cryptocurrencies, XRP and Shiba Inu, have taken different paths since then. XRP has soared, while Shiba Inu has struggled to gain traction. This article explores which of these tokens is more likely to become a millionaire maker.XRP: Can It Capture a Share of International Payments?
XRP has been one of the best-performing cryptocurrencies since Trump's win. A key catalyst was a leadership change at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which led to the agency dropping an appeal in a long-running lawsuit against Ripple, the company behind XRP. This lawsuit had been a significant overhang on the token. The SEC is also expected to approve a spot-XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) within the year, which could further boost XRP's adoption.Key Data Points for XRP

Shiba Inu: What Lies Ahead for the Meme Token?
Shiba Inu experienced a meteoric rise starting in 2020 as a meme token inspired by Dogecoin. While it remains a meme token with a strong social media following, the Shiba Inu team has taken steps toward building real-world utility. In 2023, Shiba Inu launched Shibarium, a Layer-2 blockchain solution designed to alleviate congestion and high fees on Ethereum's network, where Shiba Inu originally operated as an ERC-20 token.Key Data Points for Shiba Inu
Which Cryptocurrency Is More Likely to Be a Millionaire Maker?
Early investors in either XRP or Shiba Inu may already have seen millionaire-level returns. However, for new investors hoping to achieve similar gains today, significant developments are necessary. For XRP, continued adoption in international payments and fulfillment of Garlinghouse's vision to capture a meaningful share of SWIFT's volume will be critical. Ripple's expansion of its network and ecosystem will also play a key role. Shiba Inu will need to either reignite massive social media enthusiasm to trigger a parabolic price surge or demonstrate that Shibarium offers valuable, practical utility. Both tokens remain volatile and risky investments. However, if choosing between the two, XRP stands out due to its robust technical infrastructure, potential to disrupt international payments, and expanding ecosystem tied to Ripple.About the Author
